Ruffle runs on all modern browsers through the use of WebAssembly. Ruffle is a Flash Player emulator written in Rust. By installing this extension, you get access to the latest fixes and optimisations even on websites that already include an older copy of Ruffle, whilst also providing you with some extra options. If websites also have Ruffle installed, this extension will upgrade it to the latest version if needed. Ruffle will detect all existing Flash content on a website and automatically 'polyfill' it into a Ruffle player, allowing seamless and transparent upgrading of websites that still rely on Flash content.
